Lavender Check – Lavender & Ivory Checkerboard Area Rug | Haus of Weaves

Introduce soft color and graphic pattern with the Lavender Check Checkerboard Area Rug, a contemporary interpretation of the classic checkerboard design in a refined lavender-grey and ivory palette.

The repeating squares create a clean, rhythmic pattern across the rug, while the muted lavender tone brings a softer and more sophisticated character than traditional high-contrast checkerboard designs. Its balanced palette makes it easy to introduce pattern without making the room feel visually heavy.

◼️ Classic Checkerboard Design

Lavender Check reimagines the familiar checkerboard pattern through a softer, contemporary color palette. The repeated geometric squares create a sense of rhythm and structure while maintaining a calm overall appearance.

The simple pattern allows the rug to work beautifully as both a subtle foundation and a statement piece.

🎨 Lavender & Ivory Palette

The muted lavender-grey brings a subtle touch of color, while the warm ivory keeps the overall composition light and versatile.

Pair it with:

• Cream and ivory upholstery
• Soft beige and taupe
• Light or natural wood
• Grey and muted lavender accents
• Dusty pink and mauve
• Black or charcoal details for contrast

🏡 Where to Style It

Lavender Check works beautifully as a bedroom rug, living room rug, dining room rug, or statement area rug.

Its soft color palette works particularly well with modern, contemporary, Scandinavian, minimalist, feminine, and eclectic interiors.

💡 Styling Tip

Use the lavender tone as a subtle accent rather than trying to match it throughout the room. Pair it with cream upholstery, light wood, soft textiles and muted mauve or lavender accessories for a relaxed, sophisticated look.
